Truth be told, we LOVE to receive a gift card. Really, there are few friends and family that can pick out the perfect pair of shoes we’ve been wanting, or a travel book that we haven’t read.
So why do we always feel guilty – maybe even lazy – when giving a gift card? In a time when texting overrides phone calls and e-cards are more prevalent than paper greeting cards, is a gift card thoughtful or impersonal?
